On April 4, 2024, BlueHub hosted an Open Brain session for our startup, Nettle TOC, at the Brightlands Campus Greenport Venlo.
Event Highlights:
Delphine Rompelberg from Nettle TOC kicked off the event with a brief pitch about our startup. She articulated the primary question facing our team, which was the focus of the expert discussion:
Main Question:
How can nettle cultivation be utilized by farmers as a revenue model to enhance biodiversity, improve landscapes, and extract nitrogen from the soil?
The brainstorming session was guided by a moderator who helped structure the intensive flow of ideas and advice from the invited experts.
We are grateful to Bart Verlegh, Willem van Hoof, and Daisy Ripmeester-Lommen for organizing such a fantastic event. Their careful handling of the information provided by the experts and the plethora of useful links and contacts shared by Willem van Hoof and experienced experts were invaluable.
